Over six unforgettable weeks, the Stonebridge 2025 Regional Roadshows brought together hundreds of mortgage and protection professionals from all corners of the UK. It was a great chance to connect with our member firms in person, encourage collaboration across the network, and build new relationships between lenders and brokers.
Connecting the UK mortgage community
This autumn the Stonebridge team travelled the length and breadth of the UK, from Gatwick to Glasgow, hosting events designed to inform, inspire, and unite our nationwide network. Every location brought together lenders, protection partners, sponsors, and advisers for a programme that blended strategic insight, practical updates, and genuine opportunities to collaborate.
Across the tour, attendees heard from our Senior Leadership Team, a broad panel of lenders, and expert partners. From market forecasts and product innovation to compliance, technology, and the growing importance of holistic advice, the Roadshows showcased the strength and direction of the Stonebridge network.

Market performance and insights
A large part of each event focused on giving advisers insights into the 2025 market landscape. Stonebridge Senior Leadership Team provided an update on network performance and the direction in which we are heading.
- Lending application value showing solid double‑digit growth, with case counts rising significantly.
- Lending completions increasing markedly year‑to‑date.
- July delivering a record‑breaking level of completions.
- On track to surpass last year’s total volume.
Lender speakers explored current economic conditions, credit appetite, service enhancements and shifts within the specialist and BTL markets. Their candour and forward‑looking perspective gave advisers a real insight into identifying key opportunities for the year ahead.
Our annual network survey reinforced this encouraging sentiment, with 81% of firms reporting a positive market outlook and 73% expecting to complete more business over the next 12 months.
Product innovation, technology and business enablement
Technology and process improvement were a major focus of discussions throughout the roadshow series. We are continuing to invest in the systems, tools and support that help member firms operate more efficiently and grow with confidence.
Delegates heard more about the ongoing evolution of our platforms, including enhancements to Revolution and the wider suite of tools that advisers rely on day-to-day. These updates are designed to streamline case management, improve usability, and create a seamless end-to-end experience that supports both advisers and their customers.
Alongside technological progress, we highlighted the significant investment being made in strengthening our internal capability. Over the past 12 months, we’ve created 26 completely new roles across IT, risk, marketing, commercial and compliance. This expansion ensures that our members continue to receive high-quality support, backed by specialist teams who can respond to evolving market needs and provide expert guidance whenever it’s required.
Together, these developments reflect our commitment to providing advisers with robust, modern infrastructure and the operational support needed to run resilient, efficient and scalable businesses in 2025 and beyond.
Protection and the value of advice
A defining feature of this year’s Roadshow was the enhanced focus on protection, strengthened by the involvement of Aviva and Legal & General. At every location, our Value of Advice session emphasised:
- The growing UK protection gap
- Customers rising need for financial resilience
- The adviser’s crucial role in helping customers understand and manage risk
- Why protection should be embedded in every customer conversation
- Practical tools, product updates and support pathways to help firms increasingly discuss protection

Protection performance across the network reflects the same upward trajectory:
- Application value showing strong double‑digit growth.
- Completion value rising noticeably.
- July delivering a record‑high level of applications submitted.
People, culture and network growth
Another important theme running throughout the Roadshows was the continued growth and evolution of the Stonebridge community. Advisers heard how the network is expanding not only in size, but also in capability, with renewed investment in people, training and leadership to strengthen the support available to member firms.
The Adviser Recruitment team has played a significant role in this momentum. Over the past year, they have worked closely with 106 firms, referred hundreds of candidates and supported the placement of more than 130 advisers into new roles. This growth reflects both the increasing demand for quality advice and Stonebridge’s reputation as a network where advisers can build successful, sustainable careers.

Across the business, Stonebridge continues to champion a people-first culture. Members heard about the ongoing work within our wellbeing, charity and inclusion programmes, ranging from mental health support and menopause advocacy to LGBTQ+ awareness and industry-wide diversity initiatives. These commitments sit at the heart of the network’s values and reflect the role Stonebridge plays not only as a business partner, but as a community that supports its people to thrive.
All of this underlines a simple message: Stonebridge’s strength is built on its people. The Roadshows provided a chance to celebrate that, to highlight the progress made over the past year, and to reaffirm our commitment to supporting advisers, firms and colleagues as we continue to grow together.
